Palm, HF, Nookie, Astral and Green Slime all provide us with throwbags.

The starting range of throwbags that are suitable for bank to swimmer use begins with the 7m Nookie flip line. For use where you need a greater length of rope we recommend the Mini or Personal throwbags from Nookie (15 and 20m), or a Palm React (12m and 18m).The Bullet (15m) and Alpine Pro (20m) from Palm are superb piece of gear, and can be used in conjunction with the Zambezi Utliity Belt.

The HF Weasel (18m) used in conjunction with the HF Swifty Belt makes it readily available for that urgent moment.Another Fantastic piece of kit from HF is the Compact Alpine (20m). It has a tapered neck with handles that mean repacking is alot easier than most other bacgs on the market.

Astral supply us with a compact flat bag that is available in either poly or spectra. These are ideal for people using the Aquavest 300 as it will fit in the front pocket perfectly.

For throwbags that will be submitted to greater levels of use, maybe hauling a boat from a swollen river we suggest that you should look at the Palm Alpine Pro (20m). Paddlers who are travelling to foriegn destinations where the rivers are faster and wider should contemplate the Canyon Pro (25m)

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.

December Staff Round Up

This December didn't see us out and about quite so much. It's our busiest time of the year, so it all hands to the deck and with most Annual Leave used up by now. However, we all still managed to fit something in, and the Christmas period gives us all a few days off where the shop is closed, meaning traditional Boxing Day / New Years Eve/Day walks/swims/runs/paddles are all fitted in.
