Kayaking Safety Knife or Canoeing Safety Knife

The Whitby Safety Rescue Knife is perfect for sports such as canoeing and kayaking. It is also ideal as a general pocket knife where you want a sharp reliable blade, maybe also useful for sports such as climbing and mountaineering.

This safety and rescue knife is able to be opened in a single handed operation and features a 2.5" stainless steel teflon coated blade that is also able to fold into the  high vis thermoplastic handle. When folded into the handle the units measures 4.5" When the blade is folded out of the handle it will lock into position so that there is no danger of it folding back on your fingers. The blade features a very rounded end so that there is no danger of stabbing someone when it is being used in close proximities. Also on the end on the handle there is an eyelet that is ideal for securing it onto a lanyard so that in the event of a rescue you can't drop and lose it.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
