Kayak Throw Bag or Canoe Throw Line

The HF Compact Alpin is possibly one of the best kayak throw lines available. With a good length of rope, a super tough and durable bag and reloading handles what more can you want.

HF has designed the Compact Alpin to feature a 20m length of 10mm rope that incorporates a 1300daN breaking strain. This is then packed and stored in a cylinder style bag that has a large opening neck. This wide opening neck makes it very easy to re pack after use. On the top of the collar there are also two good sizes handles, these also make it even easier to repack. They are also handy for scooping up water to relaunch after a miss.  The base of the bag is padded and also displays the technical data for the rope. The base also features a carry handle for ease of transport. The rope is then held firmly with in the bag due to the heavy duty rubber strap, this is then held in place by a very sexy push pull stud. A small d ring located adjacent to the strap makes for easy securing in a kayak, while the reflective detailing around the centre of the bag makes it easy to spot in darker conditions.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
