Entry Level Kayak or Teaching Kayak

The Dagger GT Club is an entry-level kayak that is suitable for paddlers in the 40-80kg-weight range. Paddlers who are too small should look at the GTS Club, while larger paddlers should look at the GTX Club.

Dagger have designed the GT Club as a versatile entry level kayak that is idea for using on grade 1-2 water and also lakes. The internal fittings are all basic but very suitable for this type of paddling. Its ideal as a teaching kayak and is perfect for use in canoe clubs and outdoor education centres.

The Dagger GT Club features a large ergonomic seat that also incorporates an adjustable kayak backrest. Internally with in the large easy access cockpit there are a set of well-shaped thigh braces that will over plenty of control over the kayak when learning basic skills such as an Eskimo Roll. Further support if achieved by the addition of the adjustable pedal footrests. Man handling of the GT is quite easy due to the large alloy grab handles that are fitted on the front and rear of the kayak. In the event of a capsize, the GT can be easily emptied due to the rear drain plug.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
