Beginners Kayak or Flat Water Kayak

The Dagger GTX Club is an entry level beginners kayak that is ideal for teaching basic kayaking skills. It’s ideal for paddlers in the 65-105kg-weight range. Paddlers who are too large for the GTX should look at the GT Max Club while smaller paddlers could look at the GT Club.

Dagger has designed the GTX Club as a versatile beginnerskayak that's suitable for for use on flat-water lakes and also grade 1-2 white water.  The GTX features a number of fittings, all of these are basic but very suitable for this type of paddling. Its perfect for use as a teaching kayak and is ideal for use in canoe clubs where paddlers need to develop kayaking skills

The Dagger GTX Club has a large comfy seat, this includes an adjustable kayak backrest. In the large easy access cockpit there is also a set of thigh braces that will offer improved control and support when learning basic kayaking skills such as sculling for support and Eskimo Rolls. The level of support and comfort available is then maximised due to the kayak coming fitted with adjustable pedal footrests. The GTX kayak is very easy to move around ont he bank and this is due to it being fitted with grab handles. The large comfoy grab handles are fitted on the front and rear of the kayak. Also on the rear of the kayak is a drain pug, this makes it easy to empty the water out in the event of a capsize.
