River Running Kayak Paddles or Carbon Cranked Kayak Paddle

The Werner Shogun is a carbon cranked kayak paddle that is built to a very high standard, this is possibly one of the best kayak paddles out there. This is a great river running kayak paddle as it offers excellent levels of power, stiffness and strength.

Werner has designed this kayaking paddle to feature a full carbon construction. The blades features a carbon and foam core construction which also incorporates a Dynel reinforced edge, while other parts of the blades feature strategic Kevlar patches. The foam core paddle blades offer great stiffness and they are also very buoyant in aerated white water. The  cranked kayak paddle shaft is great for optimum levels of performance. The neutral bend shaft helps to keep your hands and wrists aligned which helps to reduce fatigue and also the chance of any injury and damage to your wrists; while the indexed grip area helps to give better levels of contact to aspire greater confidence on the river.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
