Best Creeking Paddle or White Water kayaking Paddles

The Werner Stikine, a carbon kayak paddle that features a straight paddle shaft. This white water kayaking paddle is built to the highest possible standards, the carbon foam core paddle blades are very light and buoyant in aerated water.

Werner has designed the Stikine straight shaft paddle with a full carbon construction. It also incorporates a foam core in the blades. A foam core kayak paddle is lighter and more buoyant in the water. It also makes for ease of rolling and support strokes in aerated water. The paddle blades also feature a dihedral shaping which keeps them smooth and stable and smooth while forwards paddling. As this aims to be one of the best creeking paddles available the edges of the paddle blades are then reinforced with Dynel, while other strategic parts of this kayak paddle are reinforced with Kevlar.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
