Canoe Airbags or Open Canoe Airbags

Harmony Canoe Airbags are an essential add on for any open canadian canoe. Whether your using it for flat water or white water they will really help in the event of a capsize. The Harmony 3D Endbag is available in a variety of sizes so you can get the perfect combination for what ever set up you are looking for. In addtion to a range of end bags they also offer the Harmony Centre Bag that is an ideal option for tandem white water.  

The 3D Endbag is manufactured from a tough durable vinyl, it then features a large tube for ease of inflating that then also incorporates the favoured twist valve for when you need to let a bit of air out. Also included in this airbag are several eyelets that are cut out to make it easy to secure the bags into your chosen open boat. The final feature of it is then the large drain valve so that at the end of your day its easy to release all the air out of the airbag and pack it into the boot of your car!  

When it comes to fitting end airbags into a Canadian Canoe there is not a correct or incorrect way. The best way is what you rather! However we are able to supply either the Endless River Lash Kit or the Harmony D Ring. Both of which will give you a good start to getting them secure!

Some paddlers these days are tending to go for the option of solid foam blocks as they do not puncture! Here at Up and Under we supply solid blocks in the form of the Aiguille Solid Blocks or alternativly the Endless River Wedge Blocks. However if you do rather an inflatable airbag it may also be worth looking at the Aiguille Airbag Protector.
