For the expert or those who fancy some white water canoeing, we've got the Bandit and Nantahala from Werner. Both of these can be cut to a precise length for optimum performance.

Our wide range of wooden canoe paddles from from Grey Owl. There are options for kids and whitewater, as well as very reasonably priced all round paddles. They make lovely gifts, being lovingly constructed and beautiful to look at.

We've got glassfibre punting poles from Lendal, aluminium poles from Aiguille, and an ash canoe pole from Grey Owl.

As always, we're happy to provide advice if you can't decide which paddle is best for you. To protect your precious paddles we also supply a range of paddle bags and accesories. T grips can be found here.

Please note that postage for paddles over 149cm in length will be different from our normal quoted postage. This is because we can't send long items by the usual carrier services. Please click here to get guidline pricing for carriage.

Technical Tips!!

How to shorten your paddle and stick a T grip on!

  1. Cut the shaft to desired length using a mitre saw to ensure a straight smooth cut, then sand the edges smooth. Remember to take into account the length of the T grip before cutting!
  2. Place some shrink wrap (click here for Lendal shrink wrap) onto the shaft and leave at the base for use when the T grip is on.
  3. Mix Araldite following the instructions on the box. Put one coat on the T grip and some inside the top of the shaft.
  4. Push the T grip to the shaft ensuring that it sits at the correct height and in the correct orientation.
  5. Leave for a couple of days to completely set.
  6. Bring the shrink wrap up the shaft and position it over the join, then shrink it to fit with a powerful hairdryer.
  7. Go paddling with your secure powerful blade!
