Sea Kayak Bilge Pump or Kayak Hand Pump

The Scotty kayak pump is a top safety product to take along on your sea kayaking adventures. In the event of having capsized, this will assist with performing a deep water rescue and being able to empty your kayak of water.

Scotty has designed this sea kayak bilge pump to have a plastic body so it won’t corrode. Around the main part of the body there is then a foam float which helps it to float in the event you drop it in the water. The main piston is made from stainless steel; this makes it easy to pump and assists with giving plenty of power as its stiff. This kayak hand pump will remove one gallon of water per 13 strokes of the pump.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
