Sea Kayaking Paddles or Split Sea Kayaking Paddles

Glass construction offers a great combination or performance, strength and value. It has higher impact resistance than carbon but lower tensile strength.

Cranked shafts reduce strain on the tendons in your wrists. A conventional straight shaft causes your wrists to angle inwards putting more pressure on certain tendons. By cranking the shaft your wrists are aligned with your forearm therefore spreading strain more evenly across your wrists. This reduces fatigue, helps if you have wrist problems and helps prevent wrist injury in the future.

All Werner touring paddles come with an adjustable ferule (the angle of the paddle blades) system. It allows adjustment in 15degree increments allowing you to fine tune your paddle for comfort and varying wind conditions.

Palm Paddle Float

A paddle float that is tough and hardwearing making it ideal for coastal exploration and sea kayaking expeditions. It is made up from multi layters of fabric. On the outsides there are two inflatable chambers while inbetween these there is a pouch for your paddle blade. Each inflated side panel has its own inflation hose and these are easy to use due to the handy twist seal valves. There is then a small buckle that will secure to your paddle to prevent the paddle float from coming off and floating away.
