Low Angle Kayak Paddle or Sea Touring Paddle

The Werner Skagit CF is low angle kayaking paddle that features medium sized paddle blades. It has an adjustable shaft that can be easily split in two and makes for easy storage. 

Werner has designed the Skagitsea kayaking paddle to work for paddlers who rather the low angle paddling techniques. It features an adjustable paddle shaft that is made from a blended mix of carbon and fibreglass. This is then fitted with an adjustable centre spigot which gives the opportunity to change the hands from right to left and vice versa. This kayak paddle joint can also change the angle of feather to a number of different options that include 15, 30, 45 and 60 degrees. The paddle blades are medium sized and are made from a blended mix of carbon and glass fibre. This makes them slightly more rigid that the standard fibreglass reinforced nylon blades that are fitted on the Skagit FG

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
