Paddle Lanyard or Paddle Leash

The Whetman Equipment Paddle Leash is a simple and easy way of securing your kayak paddle to your chosen kayak. Whether you paddle a Sit on Top Kayak or a Sea Kayak this paddle lanyard will do the job.

Whetman Equipment
has designed the paddle leash to be lightweight and simple to use. It features a 1.5m length of marine grade cord for strength and durability. This is then easily secured to the paddle shaft via a slip knot / hangman’s noose. It also incorporates a 3/4 length of protective tube which helps it grip the paddle shaft. The other end then secures to the kayak. This is achieved by the use of a small stainless steel karabiner.

Please watch the Whetman Equipment footage below for further info!

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
