Sit On Top Kayak for Touring or Sit On Top Kayak for Camping

The Tootega Prophecy 110 is a touring sit on top kayak that is fun and easy to paddle. Whether you are cruising along your local canal or bouncing around a choppy bay, the Prophecy 110 will do it happily.

Tootega has designed the Prophecy 110 to be a versatile sit on top kayak that is stable while also offering reasonable levels of forwards speed. This sit on top kayak for touring has been packed with lots off great features that make it perfect. There is a large front storage hatch, a rear tank well and also two further smaller kayak hatches all of which will carry a reasonable amount of kit. The rear tank well is ideal for placing a kayak dry bag, there are then bungee securing elastics to hold it down and keep it secure.  The support and comfort for the paddler is great due to the adjustable kayak footrest. Further support is then available by adding on a padded kayak backrest. The safety elements of the Prophecy 110 are also highly thought about, the main reason is sit on top kayaks are great for family use. The main safety feature of the Prophecy 110 is the self bailing hull system. So that if you do capsize you can easily turn the boat back over and climb back on. This sit on top kayak also features 3/4 length side deck lines which ensure you can easily keep hold of the kayak while in the water. Each end of the kayak and also the sides adjacent to the seating position incorporate grab handles, these make it easy to man handle the kayak on and off the roof rack and also to the waters edge.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
