Whitewater Sit On Kayak or Whitewater Sit On Top Kayak

The Pyranha Fusion Sit On Top Kayak is an ideal choice of craft. Whether it is for recreational paddlers or the more advanced white water paddlers. It is perfect for those paddlers who get nervous about being sat in a more conventional closed cockpit kayak.

Pyranha have designed the Fusion Sit On top to be a highly versatile crossover kayak that will excel on white water and flat water alike. The initial shape and design of the Fusion Sit On is very similar to that of the Pyranha Fusion II. The boat is easy to paddle and features a wide and stable hull. It incorporates soft rounded edges and also comes with some front to rear rocker for when surfing on a wave, whether it be on a river or at the beach.

The Fusion Sit On Top comes with a good level of outfitting that includes front and rear grab handles, these make it easy to man handle on and off the water. Further fittings include a front deck storage pod that offers a further 3L of storage capacity. While on the rear deck there is a larger oval storage hatch into the rear of the boat. In this rear storage area there is plenty of space for a drybag. To maximise the levels of comfort for the paddler, there is an adjustable backrest. However when it comes to the performance of the boat, this is kept at the maximum by the moulded in footrests and padded though straps.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
