These are big bags that hold everything, up to 140 litres of it in some cases. Lowe Alpine are there with a good range of sizes from 70 to 140 litres in a ripstop polyester, the larger sizes incorporating wheels to for movement around airports etc. The 140L version is particularly good for transporting long items. For even more rugged protection of your kit we have the world reknowned Basecamp Duffle range from The North Face which are made from PVC Tarpaulin. These are ideal for expedition haulage of heavy and sharp kit and for being thrown off buses and strapped to donkeys. At a lower price point and somewhat less durable but equally well designed are Rab's Expedition Kit Bags which offer great value for money and plenty of capacity. They also pack down small when empty.
