Run Walk Crawl Ultra Marathon
Based
in South Wales we are a group of keen trail, ultra runners and
triathletes providing challenging, exciting, adventurous events in
beautiful locations. We currently host the Gower Ultra 50, South Wales
Trail Half Marathon, South Wales 100 and the Brecon to Cardiff Ultra and are developing
trail runs and challenge events in and around the South Wales area. Run
Walk Crawl is the event trading name of Aspire Adventure.
Up Hill Down Dale
Beautiful Races, Beautiful Places with race distances from 26 to 135 miles spread across Wales and Western England. Born out of a love of trail running and multi-sport events these guys provide events including the super popular Beacons Ultra (Up and Under will be supporting for the first time in the 2019 edition) and Rebellion races on Glyndwr's Way National Trail.
South Wales Climbing Wiki
The is the definitive online source of rock climbing and winter climbing information for Gower and S.E. Wales areas. Regularly updated it features a wealth of trad and sport climbing on coastal and inland limestone and sandstone crags and quarries and winter climbing throughout the South Wales Valleys and Brecon Beacons National Park.

OnTrack Fitness
If spending your evening in an air conditioned gym is what you love then
you’re in the wrong place! However if the thought of fresh mountain
air, incredible views and a huge sense of achievement sounds more
appealing then we can help.
Formerly known as the Welsh International Climbing Centre or (WICC) the Summit Centre
climbing wall is located in the Taff Bargoed Valley, 10 minutes from
the Quakers Yard exit off the A470 and under an hour from the centre of
Cardiff. It is built on the site of the former Trelewis drift mine.
The
climbing wall itself is awesome being up to 18 metres high with some
enormous overhangs on it's former international competiton wall
centrepiece. Throughout the centre there are over 180 routes plus
extensive bouldering. The centre also has a man-made caving system with a
waterfall inside.
You are assured a warm welcome
from very friendly helpful staff and a climb on some long impressive
routes all in a relaxed atmosphere.
Forest of Dean Canicross
A friendly group that like to run in the Forest of Dean meeting most Sundays mornings and wednesday and friday evenings in the forest for a 7-10km social run and cake. They cater for a wide variety of abilities and breeds (from small terriers to Malamutes), so regardless of what dog you have, and your ability you will be welcome to join them.
Cragfit
An indoor climbing centre in Rassau just off the Heads of the Valleys Road midway between Merthyr Tydfil and Gilwern providing a variety of climbing angles to challenge climbers of all abilities all in a friendly relaxed environment.
Mountain and River Activities Ltd
Mountaineering, hillwalking, rock climbing, gorge walking, caving, bushcraft and first aid course provider based in the Brecon Beacons who specializes in midweek and weekend courses plus overseas treks to places like Kilimanjaro.
South Wales Mountaineering Club
Our favourite customers provide a great service to the South Wales climbing and mountaineering community. Not only are they highly active with loads of experienced members they are also very welcoming to new members, beginner and experienced alike. One of the most popular features of their website is the South Wales Guidebook Wiki which has up to date info and topos on all crags in this area which has had masses of development since the previous printed guide. South Wales Bolt Fund
The SWBF is a charitable trust fund recently set up with the help of the BMC. Their aim is to promote sports climbing in South Wales by raising funds for the development and re-equipment of in-situ protection on crags designated for sports climbing under the terms of the current bolt policy. Check out how you can help or take a look at some of the new crag topos.
You can get hold of Topos for new crags and recently revamped crags in A4 laminated format from Up and Under outdoor gear and at the same time support the South Wales Bolt Fund by putting £3 a piece in their collection jar.
Topos include: Quarry X1, Mount Pleasant, Navigation, Morfa Bychan, South Wales Winter Climbs, Dyffryn Wood Quarry, Pwll Du Quarry, Watch House East, Dinas Rock, Witches Point, Foxhole Cove, Taffs Well Main and Castle Quarry.

Cardiff International White Water
Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) will be the very first on-demand white water rafting facility in the UK, and is already attracting the attention of people looking for an adrenalin fuelled, white water adventure.
