South Wales Walking and Rambling Clubs

Below is a list of those walking and rambling clubs that are active in the Gower, South East Wales and Brecon Beacons area. This includes contact information for the clubs committee's and their regular meeting venues.

Cardiff Ramblers

The Ramblers Association Cardiff Group organises walks in the South Wales area and beyond. Walks vary from 2 to 20 miles, and happen on wednesdays, weekends and thursday evenings in the summer. Each month there is also a Stepping Stones walk - short, flat and easy going. They organise coach trips, weekends away, footpath maintenance and campaigns as well as the occasional social event. Dates and info available from their website.

Swansea Rock and Hill Club

The SRHC meet on the first thursday of the month in the Builders Arms in Swansea, and climb and walk every weekend. More info on their website or contact Richard Leslie on 01792 523477.

If we have missed any clubs out, please email us and we'll post them here.
