The Bending Branches Java ST is a traditional wooden open canoe paddle that's suitable for most types of the sport, whether you're cruising around a lake or exploring your local river, this paddle will do the job. It features a solid basswood shaft that has a comfortable freestyle palm grip, whilst the blade has been constructed from a combination of basswood and roasted basswood. The blade has a 2oz fibreglass coating on both sides and full RockGard protection for added durability.

The Bending Branches Java ST is a highly versatile open canoe paddle that is very pleasing to the eye and is suitable for most aspects of open canoeing. It is equally well suited to cruising around your local lake, exploring your local river, or even a gentle Sunday morning trip along the canal.

Bending Branches have designed the Java ST to be a tough but durable canoe paddle that is also light in weight. It incorporates a solid basswood paddle shaft which is topped off with a freestyle palm grip. The paddle blade itself is made from roasted basswood that is laminated with very fine basswood strips. Each side of the paddle blade then features a 2oz fiberglass coating for added performance and durability. The edges of the paddle blade also feature a full Rockgard protraction, which really helps to protect the paddle in shallow water when bumping the rocks!
