Dual density crampon lugs provide a secure fit for the rear of the crampon whilst allowing some shock absorption at the front for bullet hard ice. The ankle of the boot is designed to allow a complete and free range of movement allowing for easy and comfortable walking and climbing. A three layer tongue helps insure comfort by providing padding for kicking. A carbon composite midsole provides rigidity at a fraction of the weight when compared to other materials and cushioning is provided by dual density shock absorbing layers. The soles are made of deeply lugged Vibram® Teton outerto keep you safe on the walk in.

Features:
The upper is constructed from lightweight synthetic Putek mesh with a PVC overlay for added lateral support and protection. Arwa has a full Thinsulate™ lining which even extends under the foot to prevent any cold spots.

Boreal's unique Dry-Line® waterproof breathable lining guarantees to keep your feet dry and has superior water vapour transmission performance. The innovative Bi-Flex system allows the ankle to move freely, greatly enhancing walking comfort and freedom of movement when climbing. The intergated elasticated ankle cuff keeps the snow out and the laces neatly tucked away.
