The DMM Captive Eye ensures that in real life situations the connector will never be cross loaded through misalignment. The DMM Ceros has been designed to help minimise the risk of cross-loading with its internal wire-gate that will keep the karabiner captive on the belay loop. The wire gate opens onto the belay loop in a single movement, plus the intuitive design ensures it is easy to use and rack - even with one hand. The horn on the spine of the karabiner helps prevent assisted braking devices from jumping onto the spine.
