"Thanks to DMM I was a step ahead of the game with the Traction Chalk Bag getting it before the product was fully released. So I have had plenty of time to use it both down the wall and on the crag. Anyone that has climbed with me or seen me climb knows that I dip way more than most people so I am in a great position to review this product.

The Result: the DMM Traction is the best chalk bag that I have ever used, and I have used a lot over the years. I was concerned that the stiff contoured top would get in the way but oh no, it helped guide my hand straight in every time and was always open wide waiting for those panicky dips (most of my chalking / climbing is panicky). The size and shape are ideal for medium to large sized hands even with a chalk ball in there, the weight is low but the materials feel very durable. It was a new thing for me to have a chalk bag belt as opposed to a bit of old tat or some paracord and I was very happy that the buckle would hold even the most forceful of plunges. All in all a funky and functional winner."
