The ISC Double Action Snaphook is fitted with an opening mechanism which requires the gate and second-action keeper to be engaged simultaneously, in order to open the device. This opening sequence helps to reduce the risk of unintentional opening of the gate. The SH906 also has a ‘keylock’ anti-snag nose to reduce snagging.

The ISC Double Action Snaphook has a Safety Heel to help reduce the risk of accidental opening. This Snaphook also has a 'Blind' nose design, to minimise rope snagging.

There are also triple-action and swivel eye versions of this Snaphook available. The Swivel version is available with Double or Triple-action gates, with or without Fall Indicator.
