The amazing hold is what makes the Aerolite work so well for trail running. It uses Grip Tech flexible inserts in key areas that hold your head comfortably and a 3D fit nose that adapts to your nose shape to give great fit. The bouncy contact between frame and ear or Air Link Temple System takes shock out of the ride and makes them stable during each impact.

The Julbo Aerolite fit smaller faced people and women particularly well. There are gaps between arm and frame and nose piece and lens which makes for masses of ventilation so they don't steam up in use and clear as soon as you start moving again. The Zebra Lite lenses are even better as they are anti-fog.

The choice of Spectron 3 coloured lenses stops your eyes being visible and are almost effectively mirrored. This option is suitable for strong light levels giving 8-18% transmission of light. The Zebra Lite photochromatic lense option gives light level dependant category 1 to 3 protection for low to strong light levels, giving 8-80% transmission of light. Zebra Lite also features anti-fog lenses.

Julbo Aerolite Review: Having now owned my Julbo Aerolite Spectron 3CF Blue/Green for a few weeks I have had plenty of chance to use them for general wear, cycling to work and mainly on and off-road running. I love the fit, having a small head (apparently) they fit me perfectly. The sides are really comfy on my ears which I often find an issue when wearing for longer distances (aw poor me) and they make them really stable. Similarly the nose piece is super comfy and needed no moulding at all. I don't have an issue with misting when on the move as they are so well vented even though they fit really well. They do mist a bit when I stop, but then stopping is for wimps and I am a very sweaty beast. I could have gone for the anti-mist Zebra lense but have to admit to prefering the look of the almost mirrored lense Spectron 3CF rather than the functionality of the Zebra's (how vain). On runs where the tree cover becomes dense or it just starts to get dark and I haven't got a bag or pockets with me they sit very securely on the top of my head and are slimline enough to fit in a stretch pocket on my shorts if I have the right pair on. To top it all I look cool as ... (or at least I think I do) and when I wear them with my cycling face mask I scare the local kids - so all in all a winner. Can't recommend them enough for general wear when you don't need side protection from strong winds or pollen and they are the big dogs dangly bits for all my running. I'll just have to update my seal of approval to a photo with my Aerolites now.
