The Petzl ASAP'Sorber works in conjunction with the Petzl ASAP or ASAP Lock, it's designed to rip along the stitching during a fall. Equipped with tear-webbing inside a pouch that opens on each end, the absorber is protected from abrasion, while allowing for regular inspection. It is available in two lengths, to provide the best balance between distance from the rope and reduced fall length.

It allows the user to keep the rope at a distance which can be useful to declutter the work area and keep the line away from sharp tools or hot metal. The fall absorption properties come from the tearing of stitches in the webbing reducing the impact force on the user.

The ISC Rocker can be fitted to the rope at any point and can be used hands-free as a self-tailing device when travelling up or down the rope. The Rocker is designed for use without a shock-absorber and can be used as a Rope Adjuster or on a work positioning lanyard/Flipline, (In accordance with EN358).
