Round Ended Safety Blade

The Opinel Round Ended Safety Blade features a stainless steel blade and a varnished beech handle. This bushcraft knife is great for cutting rope and also doing some basic wood carving and whittling. The stainless steel blade will have good levels of resistance against corrosion if it gets wet or damp.

This Opinel Round Ended Safety Blade also comes fitted with the the Virobloc safety locking ring. This prevents the knife from folding on your fingers during use, it also prevents the knife from opening by mistake when not in use.

The Opinel No 7 round ended knife is a highly versatile option for taking on your bushcraft adventures. The stainless steel blade gives great performance whilst the varnished beech handle carries the classic Opinel styling.

Opinel knives originate from the Savoie region of France, where these knives have been made for many years. This round end knife features a stainless steel blade, this is designed to require no special maintenance as is often reuqired with the carbon steel blade. The low carbon content (0.40%) also gives an excellent platform for good levels of cutting. This No 7 Opinel knife also features their unique Virobloc stainless steel locking ring. This helps to keep the blade locked away safely when in transit and it also prevents the blade folding on the fingers when in use.
