J Bars

The Palm J Bars are a pair of contoured bars to secure single kayaks and sit-on-tops easily and safely to your car roof rack. The inside of the J bar features a padded panel which helps to provide grip to the kayak, whilst also providing good levels of protection. These will easily fit roof bars such as the Thule SquareBar, but if using them with a Thule T-track system, you may need to use an Eckla aero bar adapter. 

The Palm J bars are a simple and effective way of securing a kayak to your car roof rack. These kayak J hooks are supplied as a pair and can be easily bolted to a roof rack. The curve of the j then makes it very easy to load the kayak and leave it sitting there, while you then strap it all down. The roof rack straps can be easily fed through the eyelets that appear on the top and bottom of each J bar. The bars are made from steel which is powder coated for enhanced levels of durability, whilst the insides of the bars are padded to offer protection to your kayak.
