The Petzl Helmet Lamp Clips are for use with helmets that do not already have appropriate integral headlamp clips (e.g. other than current Petzl helmets) the four hooks are for use with thin-edged helmets, e.g. standard site type safety helmets, to keep the elasticated headband on the headtorch correctly positioned on the safety helmet.

The Petzl Helmet Clip Adaptable Wide are also known as Crochlamp clips. They are ideal for wider brimmed helmets that do not have clips already on them. They hook onto the edge of the helmet.
