FAQs About The Load Up™ Harness:
What is the Load Up Harness designed to do? The Load Up™ Harness by Ruffwear is made for safely restraining dogs in vehicles. It's designed to be comfortable, easy to use, and durable enough to handle sudden movements.

What makes the Load Up™ Harness different? The Load Up™ Harness uses strong hardware and high-quality materials to ensure safety and comfort. Unlike other harnesses that attach high on the dog's back, causing flipping and leg swinging, it has a low attachment point at the base of the dog's back. This allows dogs to stand or lie down comfortably and keeps them upright in a crash.

Has the Load Up™ Harness been crash tested? Yes. Prototypes were tested at MGA Research Corporation. The tests followed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213 (FMVSS 213) for child restraint systems. The harness was tested with 25-pound, 45-pound, and 75-pound dog mannequins to ensure its effectiveness in a 30 mph frontal crash.
