Manufacturer:
The Sea to Summit eVac Dry Bags are oval-shaped rather than round, so they can fit perfectly into the internal contours of a backpack. They-ve been built using air permeable eVent fabric on the base, for valve-free air expulsion which allows for compact packing. Air is easily squeezed out of these sacks without letting any moisture in, instead of compression straps you simply roll the sack down and air is pushed out of the base.

Features:
Waterproof, roll-top hypalon closure secured with the Field Repair Buckle
Valve-free air permeable eVent® fabric base allows soft items to be compressed
Double-stitched and fully-taped waterproof seams
bluesign® APPROVED traceable recycled 70D nylon main body fabric uses a C0 non-PFC DWR finish
70D eVent® fabric base is non-PFC
New Base Lash Loop feature compatible with optional Dry Bag Sling shoulder strap
Oval shape stacks and packs easily.

eVent® Fabric Technology: eVent® is a proprietary waterproof/breathable membrane fabric. Like all waterproof/breathable membranes, its micro-fine pores allow the passage of water vapour, but not liquid. The genius of eVent was to make the membrane oleophobic (oil repellent), meaning it wouldn’t clog with oils, therefore didn’t need an inhibiting PU layer. It is sufficiently breathable that a pressure gradient can force air through it.

Which size do I Need?
3 Litre: a puffy vest
5 Litre: Extra layers or a high-performance down sleeping bag
8 Litre: a two-season or a high-end three-season down sleeping bag; a puffy jacket

Proper Use:
Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can’t get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon® strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle.
Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric.
Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be ‘double bagged’ (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered.
Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.
