Constructed with a blend of 52% glass, 37% carbon, and 11% kevlar, it offers lightweight yet robust performance. Available in three diameters (25.4mm, 26mm, and 27mm), the shaft ends feature additional glass wrap for enhanced strength and durability.

The Streamlyte CXT Replacement Paddle Shaft (Carbon Extreme) is one of our many kayak paddle spares at Up and Under. Designed with a carbon extreme construction, it matches the style used in top models like the Streamlyte Freeway Elite and Kinetic Polo CXT.

Crafted by Streamlyte Paddles, this carbon paddle shaft features a blend of 52% glass, 37% carbon, and 11% kevlar, offering high strength with low weight. Available in three diameters (25.4mm, 26mm, and 27mm), it's suitable for various paddle types, from kayak polo to whitewater.

Measuring approximately 100cm in length, this shaft includes a glass fiber reinforced end band for added strength. When cutting it to size, remember to measure carefully from the center and cut equal amounts from each end to maintain balance.

It simply slides over the paddle shaft and when you then apply some heat it will contract to offer a nice grip. Please note that on single piece kayak paddles and canoe paddles you may need to remove the blade or a t handle to fit it!
