Corryvreckan 2 Piece Bent Shaft

The Werner Corryvreckan 2 Piece Bent Shaft is a high angle kayak paddle for the larger framed and well-conditioned paddlers out there. This sea kayaking paddle features multi layered glass fibre paddle blades. These are full sized blades that provide plenty of power as they are pulled through the water. They are then mounted on a neutral bend cranked paddle shaft, this shaft is also made of Carbon.

The centre of the paddle shaft features the Werner smart view ferrule system which does several thigs. The first feature of the smart view system is that you can change the angle of the paddle from 15, 30, 45 and 60 degrees. It can also be changed to suit both right handed and left handed paddlers. The second purpose of this kayak joint is to split the paddle into a split kayak paddles. This then gives the chance to store them on your kayak deck as an emergency paddle. The paddle shaft is also fitted with paddle drip rings which prevent the water from running down the shaft and dropping into the boat or getting your hands wet.
