Cyprus 2 Piece Bent Shaft

The Werner Cyprus 2 Piece Bent Shaft is a high angle kayak paddle. It features foam cored blades that are wrapped in carbon. They are then mounted on a cranked carbon paddle shaft which features a centre spigot. The centre spigot is known as the Werner Smart View ferrule system and easily splits the paddle into two pieces. This also gives you the opportunity to change the paddle from right to left handed and choose between several different angles.  

Werner has designed the Cyprus kayak paddle to the highest possible specification. The paddle blades are made from two layers of carbon which sandwich around the foam core. The paddle blades are mounted on a carbon paddle shaft which is also cranked and splits into two pieces. 

This is a very light buoyant kayak paddle and is great for longer sea kayak trips. However we would recommend that it is more well suited towards deep water paddling as opposed to shallow rocky waters.
