The Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Screw is lighter than a full steel karabiner, this screwgate blends weight and durability by simply adding a still insert around the apex, improving resistance to wear. Whilst the basket isn't the biggest around, this HMS is great for its intended purposes- belaying or for setting up a top rope, or clipping into bolt hangars, as there are few carabiners as durable for the weight, which is also aided by the H-profile construction.

The Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Screw has a keylock nose that allows for easier, snag-free removal of clipped equipment.
Innovative, robust HMS biner with steel insert at the apex. Prevents premature wear and burrs or sharp edges. The screw gate can be operated quickly, one-handedly and intuitively. Also makes a lighter alternative to a steel carabiner for top-roping.

Long lasting carabiner

Staff Review: Have you been climbing so long or so much that your belay carabiner has massive grooves in it? Then get one of these and it will last way longer whilst also keeping all of that disgusting aluminium dust out of your ropes making them stay cleaner too.
