The Edelrid Salathe is a lightweight helmet, weighing in at only 200g, thanks to its hybrid construction of expanded polypropylene and robust ABS, designed to absorb impacts and help deflect rockfall. The minimalist straps and close fit also help to keep weight down, and the large ventilation gaps mean that on hot days, you should stay cool that little bit easier.
