They feature a bonded rubber trim with toe reinforcement that provides additional protection and durability, whilst also increasing safety on the trail. 

The Ortholite® Hybrid Mountain Running® insole and Wrapping System construction tightly wraps the foot, preventing it from moving inside the shoe and providing support every kilometre. The FriXion® Red sole offers excellent traction across a variety of terrain types, enabling smooth and confident steps on any surface.
The innovative XFlow™ foam midsole offers maximum cushioning over every kilometre, which translates into greater comfort during long-term running. The lacing system sees the loops incorporated directly into the side panels of the uppers - which allows the volume of the shoe to adjust throughout your run as your foot swells. The construction wrapping system of the uppers envelops the foot securely and ensures security in the heel whilst the large toe box and highly breathable uppers provide and maintain maximum comfort over long distances.
The outsole features La Sportiva's FriXion Red rubber which provides the ultimate underfoot security, stemming from the perfect combination of grip, durability and shock absorption.
