Palm Equipment have designed the Chinook Women's Jacket in two different variations, there is the ladies fit, and also a Unisex version (see related items).
The Chinook Jacket features a fully articulated, 2.5 layer fabric construction, which provides unrestricted freedom of movement. It's fully taped for maximum protection from the weather and includes a double waist system, the inner layer is elasticated and the outer layer features a small neoprene band and a elasticated drawstring. This is designed to create a better seal when paired with a pair of kayak dry trousers and a a spray deck. The sleeves also incorporate a double design, with a latex inner gasket that is protected by an adjustable Velcro neoprene outer seal.
There's a large and partially fleece lined hand warmer pocket on the chest, complete with double access zips. There is then a double neck system. The inner neck is a thick exo skin, which is adjustable and easily secured by Velcro. Whilst the outer collar has a fleece lining for added warmth and comfort. The zip on the outer collar is offset, this then allows for an area of laser cut breath holes which prevent getting the fleece collar wet. Finally there is a large hood which also includes a zip, so if the hood is not required, it can be removed. The hood is also helmet compatible and features a volume adjuster for a near perfect fit.
