Upright Bars

The Palm Upright Bars have been designed so you can fit more kayaks on your car roof rack with ease. Depending on the width of your roof rack cross bars you could get between 3-5 kayaks on their side. It features an exceptionally strong steel construction, this is then powder coated to enhance the life span and levels of performance. The top of the upright bars incorporate an eyelet that's perfect for threading your kayak roof rack straps to, while the main upright bar also comes complete with a padded sleeve to protect your kayak. These will easily bolt onto roof rack cross bars such as the Thule SquareBar, but if you wish to use them with cross bars such as the Thule WingBar you would want to look at also purchasing a set of the Eckla aero bar adapters.

The Palm Upright kayak bars are supplied as a pair and they are available in two size options, 40cm and also 50cm. The 40cm bars are ideal for use with smaller white water kayaks, while the larger 50cm bars are more suited towards sit on top kayaks. They feature a steel construction with is then powder coated and the top of the bar incorporates an eyelet for securing your roof rack straps to. They then come with a padded sleeve which helps to offer protection to your kayak so it does not get damaged.
