Tandem

The Beal Transf'air Twin B is a great tandem pulley that is suitable for use on ropes or wire cables. The ball bearings give a smooth and fast ride, making it ideal for use as a zip line pulley. Beal has designed this tandem pulley to have a fixed side design, the fixed sides incorporate large mounting eyelets that can easily accommodate 3 karabiners.

The Petzl 5 Bar Rack is an update of the classic brake bar descender. The design and configuration of the bars makes setting up and inserting the rope easy. The device allows the user to adjust the number of bars engaged on the rope to obtain the necessary the amount of friction while descending to adapt to changing conditions such as rope weight, terrain, etc. The rack is designed to use on long descents on single or double ropes.

The Jag Traxion is a progress capture double rope pulley that can be used in haul systems to provide mechanical advantage. Petzl have designed this Traxion specifically to work alongside the Jag double rope pulley so a 4:1 haul system can be created. Sealed ball bearing massively reduce friction, reducing the effort required when moving a load.

The Gemini double pulley features special side plates which are designed for use with a Prussik friction hitch in lightweight progress capture systems. Designed with parallel mounted sheaves and an auxiliary attachment point for creating different types of hauling systems, even the most complex and technical of hauling systems.

The Jag is a double rope pulley used to reduce friction in the system making hauling more efficient. It can be paired with other pulleys to provide mechanical advantage, or with the Jag Traxion to create a progress capture 4:1 system.

The Petzl Tandem Speed is the fastest pulley out there. At top speed this will cover up to 20 meters per second. The sides of the pulley are fixed, they also feature large mounting eyelets. The mounting eyelets will accept up to three carabiners easily. The sheaths are made of stainless steel and they are mounted on sealed ball bearing for the best levels of efficiency.
