The Sealskinz Bircham is the waterproof sock that started it all. Sealskinz designed the Waterproof All Weather Ankle Length Sock to keep you dry and on the move in wet conditions. Wet feet can lead to all sorts of not-so-good things outdoors, including cold and numb feet, blisters, frostbite, and worse, especially if you're not wearing the correct socks.

The Sealskinz Bircham Waterproof All Weather Ankle Socks have been dsigned for a variety of temperatures. Stay comfortable and warm in the rain, snow and mud, standing in leaky waders, and through stream crossings.

Extremely Breathable:
Particularly noteworthy is the unmatched breathability of the hydrophilic waterproof membrane to release perspiration steam and warm air from inside the sock. This creates a high level of comfort for the wearer, even while performing strenuous and aerobic activities, while also preventing rain, mud, and sand from getting inside the sock.

Materials:
These 100% waterproof socks are constructed by bonding three layers together to make one highly waterproof and breathable sock:
Outer Layer: 62% Polycolon, 29% Nylon, 9% Elastane
Middle Layer: 100% Hydrophilic Membrane
Inner Layer: 36% Merino Wool, 36% Acrylic, 18% Polyester, 5% Nylon, 5% Elastane

Technology:
Sealskinz pioneered the use of a unique hydrophilic membrane that's 100% waterproof yet pulls moisture away from your skin at the molecular level - keeping you dry and cool all at the same time. And with a Hydrostatic Head of >20,000mm, our socks stay waterproof under the toughest of conditions.

Sizing (EU):
Small: 36-38
Medium: 39-42
Large: 43-46
X-Large: 47-49

Please Note: The measurements above are your shoe size, so if you are a EU size 39 we recommend you would be a size M (Medium).
If you are at the top of a size such as a EU 42, we recommend you move up in size as these waterproof socks are thicker than normal socks.
