Covert 9.3 Duratough

The Silverbirch Canoes Covert 9.3 Duratough is a white water OC1 and a great way to revitalise your local river that you've been paddling for years. This will give you that new found level of excitement and enthusiasm, like the feeling when you first learnt to paddle!!

Silverbirch Canoes has designed the Covert as a whitewater OC1. It features a single layer, high density polyethylene construction. The design incorporates plenty of rocker and a continued curve in the side wall. The rear of the canoe is also stepped. When all of this is combined, the result is a highly manoeuvrable solo canoe that has great levels of secondary stability while not having any drag in the rear. 

The Covert 9.3 comes fitted with four ash canoe thwarts, as well as front and rear lacing for canoe airbags. The two central canoe thwarts also double as part of the mounting system for the canoe saddle that comes as standard. This foam saddle simply needs to be glued into the correct position, it also come fitted with an adjustable set of canoe foot pedals for additional support and control. In addition to this, the package also comes with extra foam to enhance the fit, an aerosol of spray glue to secure it all in position and a shaping tool for if you need to make any adjustments.
