The Silverbirch Canoes SB17 Duracore Plus, is a Canadian canoe that was designed with one main objective. To work well in the commercial market, whether that is for Canadian canoe hire, or the outdoor education centre market. This open canoe measures in at approximately 17ft 2" in length and the weight carrying capacity is phenomenal. The SB17 comes in two main variants, the standard trim, and the low line trim. There is not really a standard seating configuration, but some of the most popular options are detailed below. It then incorporates a premium quality 3-layer construction, and the layering is perfectly chemically balanced. This gives the best levels of performance and durability.

The Silverbirch Canoes Seat Hanger (Excluding Bolts) is the starting point of adding an extra seat to your canoe. The hangers come supplied as a pair and come available in two drop heights of 10cm and 14cm. They are predrilled so are easy to fit, however they don't come with the bolts, nuts and washers included. The distance between the holes is 22cm for the standard and 23cm for the larger. These hangers give a more rigid and secure fit, whilst also providing a more stable ride than some of the alternative options available. Its natural ash finish easily blends with the appearance of the seat and the rest of the boat.

The Silverbirch Canoes Custom Internal Colours gives you the opportunity to personalise your new ride. Silverbirch now offer custom build colour options across all their open Canadian canoes that feature the Duralite construction. This currently includes models such as the Broadland 15, Broadland 16 and also the Firelfy 14. On the standard Duralite Open Canoes the inner lining of the canoe is white with a black fleck, this is then contrasted with a coloured fleck to reflect the outer colour. IE a Red Canoe will have a white liner with a black and red fleck. However with the addition of the non standard colour upgrade you can opt for one of the several snazzy new colours.

The Silverbirch Canoes Firefly 14 Solo Duralite (Custom Canoe) has been made with a Duralite construction, which helps provide excellent levels of durability, rigidity and performance. It comes with two depth options and the standard configuration comes with vinyl gunwales and a standard thwart. You can then choose between either a wood web seat of a kneeling thwart.

The Silverbirch Canoes Firefly 14 Solo Duralite's construction provides excellent levels of durability, rigidity and performance. Combined with it being part of the Silverbrich Custom Made canoes program, you can customize it to get the solo open canoe of your wildest dreams. The Firefly 14 Duralite comes with two depth options, standard (Low Line) and also the highline. The standard configuration comes with vinyl gunwales and a standard thwart, you can then choose between either a wood web seat or a kneeling thwart.

The Silverbirch Canoes Firefly 14 Solo Duracore Plus is a solo white water canoe that comes available in several different seating and paddling configurations. The Firefly 14's Duracore construction provides great levels of durability and performance at a friendly price. The standard seating configuration is a single kneeling seat and a thwart, but there's also the option of switching this for a kneeling thwart.

The Covert 9.3 Hydrolite is Silverbirch Canoes' ground-breaking and ultralight canoe that ensures a clean release of water from the stern, which not only reduces drag but also helps reduce the tendency for the tail to bog down. The sidewall profile of the boat is also continually curved. This helps boost secondary stability and keeps the waterline width to a minimum. Ideal for Class III to Class V River Running

The Silverbirch Canoes Agent 88 Duratough has been built to handle the most challenging moves in steep-creeking environments. Every component has been made to be fit-for-purpose and factory fitted to the proven standards. The agent has more rocker than any other Silverbirch model, as well as more edge and more volume. The result is a forgiving and high manoeuvrable creeker with plenty of tail rocker to kill excessive speed on steeper sections and a nose rocker profile made to boof everything in sight!

The Silverbirch Canoes Duratough Two Tone Colours Canoe is part of their custom-made canoe program, which allows you to pick a different coloured lining across their rage of Duratough canoes such as the Agent 8.8, Covert 9.3 and Rebel 11. The two-tone colour option means you can can choose the colour of your boat and then select an inner colour to match your favourite paddle or PFD!

The Silverbirch Canoes Covert 9.3 Duratough is a white water open canoe that's been designed and built here in the UK. It features a single layer polyethylene shell, which is finished with ash gunwales, as well as front and rear grab handles. The mid-section of the canoe is fitted with a foam saddle and adjustable pedal footrests, whilst the bow and stern are laced, for the easy addition of some airbags.
