The Silverbirch Canoes Firefly 14 Solo Duralite's construction provides excellent levels of durability, rigidity and performance. Combined with it being part of the Silverbrich Custom Made canoes program, you can customize it to get the solo open canoe of your wildest dreams. The Firefly 14 Duralite comes with two depth options, standard (Low Line) and also the highline. The standard configuration comes with vinyl gunwales and a standard thwart, you can then choose between either a wood web seat or a kneeling thwart.

The Silverbirch Canoes Firefly 14 Solo Duralite is possibly the best solo white water canoe currently available. The Duralite construction gives the perfect balance between lightweight and high durability.

Silverbirch Canoes have designed the Firefly 14 to be a highly versatile solo open canoe that's perfectly happy running a white water river. They also manged to make it ideal for exploring your local canal, as well as flat water rivers. The Firefly 14 is one of the main white water canoes in their Custom Built Canoe program. Silverbirch has offered two sets of outfitting in the Firefly 14. You can choose between a kneeling seat combined with a standard thwart or you can go for a kneeling thwart combined with a standard thwart. Each of these systems is then secured to the open canoe via the vinyl gunwale system. However if you really want to enhance the look of your new Canadian Canoe there are a number of factory fitted upgrades available. These upgrades are detailed below... Hmm Custom Made Canoes!!
