The Silverbirch Canoes Fitted Full Length Lacing is a factory fitted upgrade on any canoe in their range. Silverbirch offer the full length lacing system so that it starts at one end of the canoe, and then equally spaced down the full length of the boat and returned down the other side to terminate opposite where it started. The outside loops are all flat in profile to the outside of the boat. However the inside loops are shaped with clear piping to make highly versatile D rings. This is perfect for assisting with lacing canoe airbags.

The Silverbirch Canoes Fitted Full Length Lacing is a factory fitted upgrade that is offered at the time of production. Silverbirch offer this for the Broadland 15, Broadland 16 and also the Firefly 14.

Silverbirch has designed the full length lacing system to be highly versatile and to be part of their Custom Built Canoes program. It starts at one end of the canoe and is then equally spaced the full length of the boat and the rope feeds in and out through drilled holes. At the opposite end it changes to the other side of the boat and finally terminates opposite where it started. Externally the loops are flush to the hull of the Open Canoe. Internally they are shaped with clear tubing to create D rings. These highly versatile canoe d rings are great for assisting with lacing canoe airbags. Please note that internally you do not get all of the loops shaped, as some of them have to maintain a flat profile as they pass behind the seats and thwarts.
