The Silverbirch Canoes Fitted Rope End Grabs are part of their Custom Built Canoe program. They're an optional extra that can be added to canoe models such as their Broadland 15, Broadland 16 and Firefly 14. They provide the option for rescuing another open canoe, in the event you should need them. They feature a small rope loops that are fitted to each end of the canoe through specially drilled holes. The end grabs are then well secured by a double fisherman's knot.

The Silverbirch Canoes Fitted Rope End Grabs are a factory fitted option, available at the time of production. They are are ideal for added safety and will help in the event of a rescue as you can easily clip a canoe throw bag to them. They are available on all models such as the Firefly 14, Broadland 15, and also the Broadland 16.
 
Silverbirch offer these in several different colours, enabling you to contrast it to your chosen canoe colour scheme. They are held firmly in place with a fisherman's knot that is located on the inside of the open canoe.
