The Kinetic 100, is a highly versatile sit on top kayak and is suitable for exploring your local coastline. Taking a gentle cruise along your local inland waterway and also playing in the surf at your local beach.
This sit on kayak is designed around a self bailing hull system that offers the best levels of kayaking saftey. In the event that you capsize, you can simply roll the kayak back over and climb back on. (See the Video below, from one of our favourite guys - Steve Whetman of Whetman Equipment). The main feature of the Kinetic 100 which makes it stand out from most other sit on top kayaks, is that it incorporates a retractable kayak skeg. This will really enhance and improve the directional stability and tracking of the kayak. The seat position is high and comfortable and is designed to prevent you from sitting in a puddle of water. To enhance the comfort and support , you can add an additional kayak backrest. Further comfort and support is achieved by the moulded in kayak footrests. When you are venturing out on longer journeys, there are three areas of storage available. There is the front storage hatch which is 24cm in diamter, this runs through into the entire kayak. There is then a smaller 15cm centre hatch, which is easily accessed whilst sat in the kayak. Finally, there is then a rear tankwell which is perfect for a kayak drybag. The Kinetic 100 has also been fitted with both front, rear and side grab handles. This makes for easy man handling when getting on and off the water.
