The Trangia Frying Pans are practical frypans to use over the campfire or other heat sources. Some frypans have a milled base that won’t slide off a gas stove. The handles are foldable or fixed. Shape a sturdy stick so you can insert it in the handle – this will give you a good distance from the fire.

Ultralight Aluminium: Ultralight aluminium a lightweight material with excellent heat conducting ability. The Ultralight (UL) alloy, also called 5005, is 50% stronger than “regular” aluminium (alloy 1050). This means that the pots can be made thinner, which makes your stove lighter without losing any durability or functionality. UL suits many users who want a simple, functional and long-lasting stove.
Hardanodized aluminium: Has a surface treatment that makes the aluminium hard and scratch resistant. It has a matt grey finish. The treatment protects against wear and corrosion, and makes HA aluminium somewhat easier to clean than Ultralight. The weight is the same as equivalent products in UL, as the HA treatment is absorbed into the material. It is suitable for users who have previously appreciated our titanium pots, as HA products are just as light and durable.
Non-stick: Is primarily used on our frypans, but it is also available in saucepans. Non-stick pots and pans are made from Ultralight and have a coating that food does not stick to – even when using only a little or no oil or butter. This also means that they are very easy to clean. It is, however, less durable and we recommend only using wooden or plastic utensils with these pots and pans. Trangia’s non-stick coating is a PTFE that is free from PFOA.
