The Werner Ikelos 2 Piece Bent Shaft is a carbon sea kayak paddle that's perfect for longer kayaking trips. It has a very high specification of construction and incorporates a two piece bent-paddle shaft and carbon foam cored blades. The shaft also has the ability to change the angle of feather to suit the prevailing winds.

Werner designed the Ikelos kayak paddle to the highest possible specifications. The paddle blades have a foam core and carbon construction with a dynel edge. The foam core makes them light and buoyant, whilst the dynel edge makes them durable. 

The paddle blades are located on the paddle shaft which also features the Werner Smart View ferrule system. The paddle joint system allows you to split the paddle into two. In addition to this, it also allows you to change the hand from right to left, and to change the paddle features between several different options, which include 30, 45 and 60 degrees.

The Ikelos is a very lightweight kayak paddle that is great for longer sea kayak expeditions. However it is recommended more towards deep water paddling as opposed to shallow rocky waters
