Manufacturer:
Despite their simple appearance, the DMM Wallnuts are highly featured pieces of climbing hardware. Different alloy is used for each size - smaller Wallnuts are made from a harder alloy to prevent shearing, while larger sizes are softer so they can bite into placements. The larger Wallnuts also feature hollow construction to reduce weight.

Colour coded anodised Wallnuts are quick to choose the right size (the colour coding also matches Wild Country's Rocks for mix and match). The tapered sides suit them to slightly outward flaring cracks whilst the clever teardrop indents make them fit even the most complex cracks and holes.

Wallnuts come in individual sizes or sets.

The sizes below 1 have smooth faces, whilst the smaller 1 -5 sizes have a teardrop on the rear of the nut to aid placement in irregular cracks and pebbly, granular rock, whilst from size 6 and upwards the teardrops are both front and rear making them ideal for placing between crack edges. The larger sizes are hollowed out to keep weight down.

The Wallnut Set includes sizes from 1 to 11, whilst the 00 to 3/4 set includes 4 different sizes.

DMM have been very specific regarding the heat treatment and alloys used to ensure excellent bite in your placement. The clever finishing reduces stress points on wire or nut and uneven placement. So get these Welsh made nuts on your rack now, because they are the best.

Curved taper gives stable placements and resists lifting out
A Wallnut's curving taper fits a wide variety of cracks in different rock types. Their design creates three points of contact between the nut and rock in a placement, giving stable placements that resist lifting out.

Allows placement in two orientations for increased versatility
Passive protection can be placed either side or face on, doubling the number of cracks any single piece can protect.

Grooved faces improve security in irregular rock
Wallnuts and Offsets have a groove machined into their faces, allowing them to sit better in irregular placements and on highly featured rock. This makes them more versatile across different rock types.

Colour coded for easy size identification
The DMM protection range is colour coded for quick and easy size selection. Colours are co-ordinated across passive and active protection, for quick selection of alternatives if your first choice doesn't fit.
