Welcome to the watersports section of our website. Up and Under has been supplying watersports equipment since the business opened in 1977. We have a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We are also the largest Canoe and Kayak Store in South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from, The Cardiff International White Water Centre. (CIWW) If you want to get wet, we will help you get on the water!

Zenith Pants
The Palm Zenith Pants are some of the most comfortable dry trousers on the market. The Zenith pants benefit from the use of a Neoprene gasket, rather than latex. Neoprene is not only warmer but it's also more comfortable and durable than latex, which is especially important as it can be harder to reach your ankle to pull it on and adjust than the gasket at your wrists or neck. There's also a handy adjustable Velcro ankle cuff that allows for fitting over boots.

The Palm Vertigo is a semi-dry kayak top that's an excellent choice for any new paddlers who are just getting started with whitewater kayaking. The Vertigo Jacket has a double waist seal which will help to give an enhanced seal with your kayak when used with a spraydeck. This jacket also benefits from a neoprene neck seal for added levels of comfort and a tight double wrist design, this should keep most of the water out. Vector Jacket
The Palm Vector Jacket is a great entry-level kayak cag that will keep the wind and spray from dampening your day. It is also suitable for water activities such as canoeing, sailing and stand-up paddle boarding. Made from durable Ripstop XP 2-layer fabric with Velcro closures on the neck, waist and wrists. You can also store snacks, keys and other everyday essentials safe and secure in the front zipped pocket. This pocket is however not waterproof!

Upright Bars
The Palm Upright Bars are a pair of upright bars to secure multiple kayaks and sit-on-tops to your car roof rack. They are supplied as a pair and come available in two size options. The 40cm version is great for use with White Water Kayaks, whilst the 50cm are more suited towards Sit On Top Kayaks. Depending on the width of your roof rack cross bars you could get between 3-5 kayaks on their side.

Universal Kid's PFD
The Palm Universal Kid's PFD, an entry level buoyancy aid that is well suited for most children. This PFD is well perfect for a wide variety of watersports such as Sit on Top Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, and your general watersports adventures. The Universal Kid’s PFD is quite simple and easy to get on and off, due to the front access zip. The 3d cut combined with the 2 sets of side adjustment straps and also the adjustable shoulder straps to offer a secure fit on the torso. The leg straps enhance the fit, as it prevents the PFD from lifting on the torso.

Universal Backrest
The Palm Universal backrest is available in two sizes and is easy to retrofit to most kayaks. It will offer good levels of support and comfort as it features a well padded back, this is secured to a 50mm belt which is supported by the sides of the seat. Further support for the back pad comes from two supporting straps that mount onto the rear of the cockpit.

Explorer Deck
The Peak UK Explorer Deck is designed specially for sea kayaking. It is made from a tough faced 4mm neoprene. It is then easily secured to the kayak with the 9mm shock cord edge. On the underside of the deck there is a grippy silicone print that helps to keep it firmly on the boat. While on the topside of the deck there is a PU print that helps to prevent against wear and tear. There is a set of bungee elastics that are ideal for securing items to your deck. This is available in 3 different decks sizes and 3 waist sizes for the optimum fit.

Brass Centred Wheelnut
The Pyranha Brass-Centered Wheel Nuts are a crucial component for securing your footrest properly. A loose footrest can pose unnecessary risks. These kayak footrest bolts come in two size options: 6mm, which is compatible with most boats from 2009 to the present, and 8mm, designed for boats manufactured before 2009. These nuts are sold individually. It's advisable to keep some spares in your safety kit, especially for extended multi-day paddling trips.
